Message:I just got Sonar XL, and I have tried just about everything I can think of just to get it to pick up my soundcard. I have a Soundblaster Live! with the latest drivers, and am running windows 2000.
I have been into the audio options and midi options menu multiple times, but I still get no input into this program whatsoever! I can hear my guitar through the speakers and what not, but it does not input into sonar at all, and everything I have tried seems to have no effect. I only have 1 sound card, so I figured this would be super easy. NOT. Least it hasn't been for me. It list my sound card in the audio options menu as SoundBlaster Live! and give the memory address of FF80. What gives? This should be easy.
I have tried hitting the "r" button in the console view, this does nothing either. It wont record, and list no volume input no matter how loud I set it. What settings am I missing here? Thanks in advance.
