Message:Why must cakewalk assume it knows best where to put program changes in a MIDI file?
My JV-1010 module needs to have the program change come AFTER the bank MSB/LSB, so I use ( title-and-key signature-destroying )Cubase to move the program change. Then I bring it back to Sonar to fix the title and key, and guess what? There's the program changes right back at the front of the tracks.
Does anyone have a CAL that will insert a second program change, so I can fool Sonar or Power Tracks into leaving the real program change alone?
