I have been working for several months with Sonar 2.2 without much problem. My son and his friend were doing a big recording project last week, and reported to me that once upon starting SONAR they got some weird message about drivers not installed or something. They futzed around and got it to work. However, since then I've been having trouble with some of the MIDI channels not working. One one project, I had to switch a higher-numbered channel to a lower-numbered one to get it to work. Now, on another project, I find that I have two MIDI tracks that won't play independently. When both are unmuted and/or soloed simultaneously, the voice for one gets assigned to the other or vice-versa. So that one track now plays both voices. I vaguely recall a similar problem in Cakewalk 8, and tech support told me I had to open up a clean project and copy all my data into it. That worked, but seems like a big kludge. Anybody experience anything similar?
