Phasing problems in playback
Hi Andy... I can't find a DC Offset option in Sonar 2.0, and it's not in my Help topics. Is there another term for this? When you say DC are you talking about Direct Current? or does this mean someting else in Sonar-Speak? Normalizing didn't help and I don't know which eq to apply as this is a phase...

Playback sounds like phasing...
Hello Andychap,
I'm having trouble getting an authentic recording. I use a Mackie DFX-12 and a JV1080 with Sonar 2.0, Compaq Presario, Soundmax soundcard, 16 bit. Playback always sounds like I've added phasing FX but I have all FX turned off. Strings are awful. Vocals are fine.
Thx... Jo Nuvark

recording vocals
Right... it was late. I'm using Compaq Presario 3000 with a soundmax soundcard, Sonar 2.2, Mackie board, 260 gig eternal hard drive for memory, JV1080, Windows XP. Audio sounds great, but my pc is layering the first track WITH the second track. Thank you so much.

First vocal track bleeding into 2nd vocal track.
I can record a successful first vocal track, but in order to harmonize with the track I listen to it while I record the second track. But... the first track is bleeding into the recording of the second track. Don't even ask me what happens to the third track. I have tried all of the record options w...
