Message:hi all!
i'm a complete newbie to computer music, so i figured i'd start small with plasma, then move on to something bigger.
problem is, i get a message immidiately following starting the program. it says "you have not selected any midi outputs" and then when i try to choose one, the only one there is "microsoft midi mapper" which also says "microsoft gs wavetable softsynth featuring roland sound canvas digital samples."
i won't let me chose this microsoft whatever it is. i click it, highlight it, but nothing happens. it still says i haven't chosen anything.
now i had the demo for "reason" a while back on the same computer, and it worked fine.
no clue where to go from here. any help would be appreciated!
