Message:I'm trying to create midi banks of real instruments (not synths) from .wav samples. I tried using awave studio and saving the bank as a .ins cakewalk type file. Cakewalk looks like it's using my bank but the sound isn't my instrument, it's some default piano sound. I tried the soundfont route, but apparently neither of my sound cards is soundfont compatible. I've made a score in cakewalk and want to play it back using my instruments (I invent and build my instruments). Anyone have some advice?
