Message:Hello, When I use Sibelius (Ver 1.4, demo) notation software with my Korg N5 synthesizer I get piano sound instead of the drum kit. This also happens with other versions of Sibelius. The sounds of the other instruments on the score are okay. The current settings on the Korg are: GM(a) or GM(b). Sibelius settings on the 'Play/Flexitime' menu are currently: 'Sounds': (Drums) Standard Set 1 / Bank 0 / Program 1 / Channel 10 / Korg PC I/F Default MIDI. 'Equipment': 'Device': Korg PC I/F Default MIDI ' Patch': General MIDI. 'Input Device': Korg PC I/F MIDI Port ('MIDI Thru' box is ticked). My computer is connected to the Korg via a single 'PC to host' cable. I get the correct drum sounds (on my computer's speakers) when I select 'Yes' (in the Sibelius 'Play/Flexitime' menu: 'Equipment') to 'Yamaha OPL2/OPL3 Synthesis' and play the score through my computer's sound card. In this case the Input Device is still set as Korg PC I/F MIDI Port ('MIDI Thru' box is ticked). But I can never get the drum sounds from the synthesizer using this software program. I get the correct drum sounds when I use 'Logic' or 'Micrologic' programs. Could you tell me what I would need to do to get the drum sounds?
