Re: recieving message 'not a valid cakewalk file' in sonar2
Message:I just lost 3 weeks of work due to the same thing. Computer crashed, and now session file is corrupt. This is on an XP machine, and it's at work, so I can't try the following, which I found on the Cakewalk site, 'til Tuesday. But sounds hopeful:Otherwise, if you are using SONAR 2, you can hold down the Shift key while opening the file under File | Open in SONAR. This will allow you to load the file without the plugins in-case any of them are corrupted and causing the file not to open.
