Re: Pro Audio Wave Profiler/Sound Card problem
Message:That is the same problem I'm having (with Aardvark Direct Pro Q10) except that When I loaded Cakewalk Pro Audio 9 and then launched it, the software did recognized and automatically profiled the Q10 as well as the Built in Nvidia Audio on the Motherboard. 1) After that I followed the Cakewalk Quick setup instructions. I had set the Sample rate to 96khz since this Q10 support its and Cakewalk flagged me with a message that said-Sample rate not supported by the following devices and all the Q10 devices were listed. I hit continue anyway figuring it as just a fluke since it always worked in Windows 98. 2) I then proceeded to copy my 'Wave Data' folder from my old PC into the Cakewalk Directory so that I could have all my previous recordings. When I went to open Calewalk and one of the previous recordings, Cakewalk no longer recognized the Q10 card. -I tried Rebooting the system and hitting the wave profiler again in Cakewalk- No luck -I tried removing the Aardvark Software and the PCI Card- No Luck -I tried Un-installing and then Re-installing Cakewalk- No Luck All that Cakewalk sees now is the Nvidia Sound card on the Mother board
