Note Names don't persist upon reopening a project
Hi Sonar X1D I created custom Note Name lists in the Master.ins file using the Instrument definitions dialog. I use my custom Note Names so that when when I work In Piano roll view.I can see drum sounds names or key switches in the left panel where the Piano layout normally is. I use the custom note...

Clip muting and CPU
The manual says that track muting does not free up CPU because a muted track is still loaded into memory.
What about clip muting. Does clip muting free up CPU?
Thank you

Kontakt Drag & drop in Sonar
Hi Window 7 Ult, 64 bit, 20 GB ram Sonar. 8.5.3 (64 bit) If I am running Kontakt 64 bit version, as a soft synth in Sonar 64 bit, when I drag and drop to load an instrument into Konakt (3, 4, or 5), there is a long delay and the host freezes until the delay is over (10 to 30 seconds or longer). Then...

Re: Midi track Midi Channel confusion
Hi You are correct in your observation that a single midi track can contain midi data on different midi channels. The Midi channel parameter is the midi out channel of the track. If set to none, the midi data is sent to the same channel as the midi data on the track. So if using a multi-timbral synt...

Exported AudioSnap clips don't sound good
Hi If I AutoSnap enable an audio clip or loop and then "Bounce to Track" or "Export audio", the exported or bounced audio sounds fine. No problem there. .... but if I make any changes that result in the AudioSnap enabled clip being stretched (Like groove quantize or Auto Stretch with a tempo change)...

Midi track Midi Channel confusion
Hi Sonar 8 I record from my Keyboard controller into Sonar by setting the midi track's "Input" parameter to "MyAudio/MidiInterface - omni". I set the "Output To" parameter to "Dimension Pro". Then I set the keyboard to send on midi channel 1. The midi data is recorded into the track on midi channel ...
