Actually this is working really great in SONAR 8 (better than Cubase)

You just need to adjust the volume, pan, reverb and chorus faders in the track view. When you save as a Midi file, SONAR automatically writes them into each track.

In the SONAR 8 instrument definition file patches are arranged in groups by BANK numbers. That means that all the sounds you see when you select a patch are from that specific bank. That's not what I want! I want all my sounds sorted according to what INSTRUMENT I'm looking for, Like I can do in Cub...
