more than one midi output in sonar
I'm using the BCF2000 and it has motorized faders... in order to get the motorized faders to work you need to select bcf2000 in the midi out and this means you have to take off your module(vsti, dxi). is there anyway to get sonar to send midi data to 2 outputs? ex. send midi out to a hardware device...

Obviously it wont be stable at first but I think it will be a big success, I'd like a hardcore multitasking pc with sata drives and 2 processor hopefully while runnin...

With good(proper) mastering Cd's sound alot better than records. You just have to follow the rules and record in 24bit, use a high quality dithering system. burn slow. The trouble is commercial cd's are usually squished way too loud and sound terrible. And the 16bit pieces of crap most people are bu...

Controlling tempo with a midi controller.
Can you control the tempo of your project by assigning a rotary knob on a midi controller.... I really would like to do this or atleast be able to control the pitch of an entire music mix like. Kinda like changing the speed of the tapes with the knob in the corner of the mixing board back in the day...

I'm not gonna take the moral high ground on this issue, but cakewalk sonar is worth the buy if you use it. IN my opinion software companies have been the silent sufferers in this whole piracy era, not the rich brat artists and record labels. All i know is Sonar 3 was dead buggy and 3.1 was worse in ...

declicker's and click & pop eliminators
Alot of wave editing suites(cool edit , soundforge) have a tool pacifically designed for this problem. If it only oocurs a couple of times just zoom right in on the pop in the waveform and press declick or whatever. Not sure exactly what these things do in the ways of eq or volume but i guess there ...

Vsc isn't cutting, and how to change the song speed quickly
Hi, I'm new to this forum, I have a few questions, and i was wondering if anyone can help me out. The Roland Sound canvas(vsc) is a great referance for composing midi data but its just to cheesy and cheap sounding for the actual audio tracks. Do any of you know a different kind of that gm module wit...
