Midi track volume jumps
I've been playing around with some midi tracks, and lets say the bass track jumps in volume some times or the drums start off quiet then get louder. Another thing thats been happening is that this one song starts off quiet even thought the setting is on 127 volume and as soon as i just touch the fad...

whats a sound font ?
I use a sound blaster Live 5.1 digital soundcard and it says you can use sound fonts.
Whats that mean?
Dose it mean I can load different sound fonts in and have dif say drum sound e.t.c?

Sick of MS gs wave synth sound
I'm sick of MS gs wave synthy!!!! sound, my midi drums sound harsh not warm like a real drum kit. I'm just using a 16bit soundcard by ess and audio recording sounds sweet but midis just OK. I'm using pro audio 9 and its great but how do i get better sounding midi. Should i chang my soundcard to a 24...
