Can't quite see what you are trying to do here. All midi drums have to be programmed on Channel 10. It doesn't matter how many tracks you use to create you drum parts, they must all be set to midi channel 10. You could then assign an instance of TTS1 to each track and each drum sound will play but u...

If by riff editor you mean audio editor then try Audacity, it's free and you can download it from here.

Yep you got the gist of it all. The audio will be routed to your tascam where you can monitor it. If you want to utilise the sounds of the Yamaha Keyboard then connect it via midi to the tascam and choose the keyboard as your midi out in Sonar. To make things a little better you can import and instr...

It looks like you have everything you need to set yourself up with a nice digital audio worksation. Everything is connected correctly so far so you should have no problems with that. The other gear you have can be connected directly to the tascam interface via the mic/line inputs so that you can rec...

You will have to make a connection between the line out of the keyboard and the line in of your soundcard. Then it is simply a matter of inserting an audio track, ensure the input is set to the line in of your soundcard, arm the track and press record. The midi tracks should play and the audio track...

Certainly looks like there is no easy answer to this one. I have read through most of the thread on the official forum and see that people were thinking along the same lines. I don't know if this is a problem with the computer or XP or Sonar, I think it is a combination of things and there is defina...

Tutorial Number 8 at the beginning of the manual or on line help files explains it all. Tutorial 8—Using Soft Synths A software synthesizer is a software program that produces various sounds through your audio interface when the soft synth program receives MIDI data from a MIDI controller or sequenc...

I have found that any adjustments that you make to the TTS-1 are saved if you still have the TTs-1 loaded in the Synth rack when you save the Cakewalk Project File (CWP). Upon reopening the project all the tweaks are restored and the name you saved them as appears in the user preset menu. Unfortunat...
