Re.
Sounds like you need an aftermarket soundcard. A fine inexpensive one is SB Audigy2. When you install this hardware, the software it came with creates the input/output options for Cakewalk (or any other audio program) to detect. Are you using an interface? many people overlook this necessary utility...

Re.
Do you have the XP SP2 installed? For some mysterious reason, that pack messes with a lot of different aspects of many-many programs. Check Cakewalk for any details about PA9/SP2 compatability issues. And, IMHO, sell that PA9 over E-bay and get yourself Sonar3 or better.

Re.
It almost sounds like you don't have your input /outputs correctly set in your track (given the music is playing through your keyboard). What kind of midi interface are you using? You can't just plug-in the keyboard and have it work (hopefully you know this). And I have to totally agree with andycha...

Re.
OK, you need to move your untimely midi notes to a more precise timely location correct? When I was dealing with HS2004XL I would have to go into the piano roll view to "straighten" any untimely notes (lets say 2 bars worth). Afterwards I would go back to track view and duplicate the bars to get wha...

LOL!!! It's OK my brother, calm down and take a deep breath. We've all been through it and it can be discouraging. When you click on the track you want and then click on piano roll to start creating notes...Cakewalk automatically selects some if not all of the tracks with midi info (if I recall corr...

Re.-Re.-Re.-Re.
Odd, the only time I've experienced sync problems between midi and audio is when a process (or two) is running in the background. Particularly, any kind of virus or spyware detection programs. Then again, you're not using the most stable version of Sonar software. I would have to suggest an upgrade ...

MagusCT -I think Kinetic is more all around. If your considering it that much...why don't you DL the trial version from Cakewalk? I think that would best answer your question no? Good luck to you.

Say what?
MG520 - Actually Hammerhead doesn't adhear to any one format (rap, rock, industrial, whatever). It comes with 909s, 808s and 606s, but you can DL many-many-many different drum sets for it (all for free). All you do is load it into the Userbank and with a press of a button you have a new set. Shoot, ...

Re.
Fruity Loops can easily coincide with Sonar as a plugin so I don't quite understand your query. Instead of manually using .WAV clips, you could get Hammerhead Rythm Station. The free version can be found HERE . Or , you could use the supplied drum kit . And, you can complete any project in it's enti...

Re.
Your output needs to be set to SB Audigy 2 synth A or B, or to your midi interface option...if you didn't already figure it out.
