is your windows mixer in record "what you hear" mode?.if so,kill that,also....does the omni have WDM drivers? if so try that,they seem to work better in cake!......also remember to run your wave profiler after you make the change...hope this helps......later

Hey Ripley, when you open cakewalk,go to options...audio,and run the wave profiler,this should set up your card for operation with cake,after that go to your windows settings and make sure that all your options are set for your card...then when you open cake,set your new track to record by selecting...

No .......I run both 2.2 and producer 3 on the same system with no problems....they are seperate programs so......if you uninstall either it shouldnt bother the other.....but trust me if you uninstall either one it will be 2.2.....later
