Cakewalk TTS-1 Don't Match My Yamaha PSR740 Definitions

I'm using a Yamaha PSR740 keyboard, which works fine in the 'Sonar5 Producer' I use. The problem I'm having is when I use the TTS-1 to freeze my drums, it doesn't match the same instruments. For example, my 'Snare H' on the Yamaha turns into an 'Electronic Tom' on the 'TTS-1'. I've searched the 'TTS...

Why was the DR-008 removed from the Sonar?

Why did they take out the DR-008 drum synth, and what did they replace it with? Seems like there should be some sort of drum synth on the Sonar 5 producer to make it a complete recording software.

Trying to get a Thumping drum sound

I have the Sonar 5 Producer. What can I do or use to get a real deep (phat Metallica like) sound out of my midi kick drum.? I've tried using my EQ and some reverb, but it doesn't 'Thump' enough. Other question is "Should I be doing anything to the midi track or wait until I create a wave track to do...
