thanks, Andychap. That is a true bummer. My friend proposes exporting each wave file separately, giving those to me, and me importing them into new Sonar 4 projects. That sounds obviously sketchy, but I guess it'll work. I really wonder about timing, though.... Any thoughts on that per chance? thank...

Can't Open Sonar 5 file in Sonar 4!
Is it possible to save a cwb file from Sonar 5 that will open in Sonar 4 PE (I'm not sure what verion/edition of Sonar 5 it's coming from)? It was tried without doing anything differently, and the file won't open in 4. The error message reads: "This file was saved from a more recent software version...
