Not at home right now so I might've left out a couple of steps or something..if you still cant find it I'll check a...

What kind of soundcard are you using? I have a Creative one and when I click on its mixer device I see a section called Recording. Clicking on an icon under that lets me choose between various options (Midi Synth, What U Hear etc...)

Do you hear your other tracks while your recording each track? I dont have home studio but maybe you have to disarm(turn record off) or mute the other tracks so they dont bleed over....I could be wrong but try that.

Nah havent upgraded to 2.2....for some reason lol. But I am going to. And yes the problem is that the bounced track has no data in it if I'm combining audio tracks that have envelopes in them. Even if just one track has an envelope it doesn't work.

On all this talk about .wav samples and such..I was wondering if Cakewalk Kinetic might work? I know it has ReWire and would work well w/ Sonar but I was wondering if anyone here knows if its more like...techno in mind or if its all-around.. Sorry for kinda going off topic but I'm considering buying...

Expansion Boards?

I couldn't find an actual Roland forum..surprisingly enough the site doesn't even have one I dont think. So I was wondering for any Roland users out there. Does anyone know of any expansion boards that could be compatible with a Roland RS-5? I'm really interested in getting one but couldn't find any...

Midi to audio Panning

Okay um, this is gonna be like super beginner sounding but here we go......I've been working slightly more seriously with audio (even though I still record MIDI and convert my tracks afterwards) and I need to know. I have my midi tracks laid out in Sonar 2 and I have each track panned a certain way....

Well you can download Finale Notepad for free and its great for making sheet music of your songs. I use that for any piano solos I make but all my VGM type stuff I do with Sonar.
