ive connected a midi keyboard via the usb connection and there is a delay from when i play it to hearing the sound from my monitors i am using cakewalk pro 9 any idears thanks

ive connected a midi keyboard using usb connection and there is a delay from when i play it to hearing the sound out of my monitors any idears thanks im using cakewalk 9 pro

there is hiss from my monitors and is there when i playback anything, i am using cakewalk 9 and a realtek cheap soundcard is it the soundcard if i upgrade to something like delta 44 for example does this clear the hiss thanks

I am trying to record audio eg vocals and am getting hiss and slight buzz on playback.

Can anyone give me any suggestions of what I am overlooking. I am using cakewalk pro 9.
