Hammond Organ

Hi,

Can anyone advise where I can get a hold of a soundfont for a decent hammond organ sound? Or how to create one from the midi offering?

Vocals

Can anyone give me any advice on how to create a good vocal track. ( apart, of course, from having an brilliant voice!) My vocal tracks always either end up swamped in the background mix, or sound as if they are coming from up the street from the rest of the music. What best effects, echo to use? so...

Re: Export project to audio file

I have an Audigy sound card and what I do is set the Recording input to "What you Hear". I then arm a new audio track on my project. And hit the record button. Createive Audigy/Soundfonts

Thanks for that, Andy. I've located and downloaded loads of great sounding soundfonts and can hear them via the Soundfont Bank Manager software that came bundled with the sound card. Next step is to "map" them to a track in Cakewalk so I can use them in Piano Roll. Any advice on how to do this? Anyo...

Creative Audigy/Midi

I have just installed the latest Creative Audigy card, and I am wondering why. It gives me nothing my old card didn't, although I suspect it's my lack of knowledge that is at fault, as opposed to the soundcard. What I want to do is improve the sound of my midi. The General Midi just doesn't sound go...
