It happens with versions 7,8 and 9 of Direct X. I do have the latest version of Direct x and it still happens, and it's only with CPA 9.3 my other audio editors are fine.
BTW This is a legit copy of CPA

I use a lot of DX plug ins but a problem I have only with CPA9.3 is when I have installed a certain amount of plug ins the last plug in in the drop down list within CPA disappears so its a plug in that will be last in the alphabet i.e WXY or Z.
