Maybe it is a samplerate mismatch issue. If the sample rate during recording is not the same as the sample rate during playback then you could have this issue (for instance, if you are recording at 48,000 samples per second on one interface but playing back at 44,100 samples per second on that trac...

Re: can't get Edriol to work in Sonar Studio 6.2

Hi Forum I can't get the Edriol VSC plug-in to work in Sonar Studio 6.2. I haven't worked in Cakewalk for several months, and when I bring up the project I was doing with Edriol VSC, I get the error message "The following plug-ins are referred to by this project, but could not be found..." The Edri...

Sonar 4 runs fine on it but now there is a discount to upgrade to Sonar 7 Studio. I'm tempted to upgrade but was wondering if ...

Check the sample rates. Also check to see what is being used as the master timing clock.

I will post this question elsewhere in case others have any ideas. If I find an answer I will post it here to help others in the future.

Cheers,

Perhaps it is a sample-rate issue. Check to make sure the correct sample rate is being used on your system.

Re: Can I use Pro Audio 9 with XP?

Hi ... I'm an old school fart who has been nothing but satisfied with Cakewalk since its early inception. Curious to know if it will run (PA9) under XP as I am soon to break down and install XP. Thanx............xo Yes, it will install and run. But you may need to deal with DirectX issues--see this...
