I would suggest if you have an onboard soundcard on your PC then use that for Midi and then buy an audio interface. I have done it this way. Being disabled...

Hi Mark, I have replicated what you have done several times and cannot get the same results you are getting. The only time I could get the notes to appear in each clip was if I 'cloned' the original clip and left it linked to the clones linked to the original. If you did clone the clips instead of c...

Hi Claes, 2nd question first because I know that one. You select the area to be cut, when you click cut in the edit menu you are presented with an options box. At the bottom there is an option to tick 'Remove Hole' and click OK. The track will then move over, overwriting all information it replaces....

Good link.
Here is a great link to Tom Parkers site. There are some handy utilities and tips for Sonar users and the Compression and EQ tables are excellant no matter what sequencer you use.

Well details have been released and orders taken. Won't be shipping for a few weeks though in the US, don't know how long it will take in the UK.

Set the out put on your midi tracks to the VSC and then the whole file will play back through this virtual instrument. The go to edit menu and select bounce to tracks this will then convert all the t...

It sounds like you have some rogue patch changes in the track, common with the sysex that the PSR series send to the PC. Highlight the track and set the track at the beginning. Go to the insert menu and select bank/patch change. Insert the bank and patch you require in the boxes. Next open the event...

It's not midi tracks you want to export is it? If so they have to be bounced down to audio first. If it is audio then bounce all the individual tracks to one stereo track in Cakewalk. Solo it but make sure that none of the tracks are highlighted in any way. Then you should be able to export. If the ...
