But even if I send the text file, he doesnt have sonar or anything installed to change it back to the original sounds or fix it.......Unles I'm just missing something

Saving as .mid issues

I have a problem with saving my projects as .mid files. When I try to save my MIDI files as .mid files as opposed to cwp or cwb files, it results in all the instruments changing to General Midi instruments. What can I do to fix this problem?

Thanks for the reply. I've really just started working in a little more depth with audio....atleast MIDI to audio, so I have to get used to everything and understand it a little more. Ill try different methods and try what you suggested also and see what happens. Thanks again.

Panning Midi drums

I'm using Midi drums in one of my songs and sometimes I will pan the drums all the way to the right or left. When I convert my MIDI trakcs to audio all at once, the panned drums are either loud and dont pan or are very soft. WHy is the pan not working?

Okay, thx for the replies and all the help. Ill look into getting a mixer but I would like to avoid buying any new hardware. I'll look in the manual on how to plug the keyboard into the mic....thx again
