depending on what you have your playback buffers set for and your i/o buffer, you may have a delay on playback. you will also notice that you probably have a delay in when you move a slider to when your ears hear it move! somebody correct me if i'm wrong on this one?

Importing MIDI issue

I like to sequence stuff in Reason 2.5 and then sometimes i wind up bringing it into Sonar 3.0 to get a different flavor on the keys. The great thing is that with Reason, you can export it all as a MIDI file and it opens as all seperate tracks in Sonar. That's not the problem. I can only get about 4...

I figured this out for the most part. So if you have this issue, then try this.
I moved my latency slider all the way to fast. I think the MIDI notes weren't being given the chance to cue up properly and were being missed. Thoughts?

I think of MIDI as a piano roll in an old player piano. You can put it in any player piano to make it sound different, but the "roll" doesnt sound like anything.

NEVER WORKS

MIDI never works right for me on Sonar 3. any thoughts? sometimes, it works pretty well and plays MOST of the notes that are there, but the next day it will play about half of them. It has actually never worked totally right. I used to think it had something to do with the sustain pedal or something...
