Missing audio data

when i open a file the following message apears :

"Some external audio files could not be found. Missing audio data has been replaced with silence "


can anyone help me ???

Sounds like you deleted the audio files.

Recover it from our backup copy.

You deleted it i'm afraid. All audio is kept by default in Cakewalk Projects/Audio Data, but in order to better organize you should choose to put audio from each project in its own folder. It makes cleaning and keeping track of everything much easier. I'm not sure what version of Sonar you have, but in Sonar 3 P.E. you go to

options
global
audio data

then select 'use-per-project audio folders'
It will then create a folder wherever you save the usual cakewalk file.
That way you wont delete stuff by accident.
