Hi:

Just getting started. What is the best way to import a track from a CD so I can build on it. I have Edirol UA 20 USB interface. I have CD RW.

You will need to convert the CDA to a .wav file. Then you can import the audio into CW. From there, build what you want on seperate tracks. Mix it all down and export it back to .wav, then MP3 or CDA depending on how you will distribute the product.
