midi setting? HELPPPPP~!!!

I bought a new keyboard that comes with a USB port, and it works great with the cakewalk. Problem is: I can no longer record vocal (from a microphone) since the keyboard comes with no mic. input. The microphone still works well with other program, but it just doesn't work on cakewalk anymore. Is there any other ways/options i can try?
