Okay um, this is gonna be like super beginner sounding but here we go......I've been working slightly more seriously with audio (even though I still record MIDI and convert my tracks afterwards) and I need to know. I have my midi tracks laid out in Sonar 2 and I have each track panned a certain way. When I convert the tracks to audio....the panning isn't recorded is it? I don't think it did. Does that mean that I am just gonna have to add panning after I convert to audio? It'd be nice if I didn't have to, as I like how everything is panned right now...

What method do you use to "convert" the MIDI to audio?

Well I've been doing my whole song using midi and stuff...Then when I want to I convert each track to an audio track by arming an empty audio track, and playing the midi tracks I want recorded together.....I'm very novice with audio and right now just use it to get stuff on my mp3 player and on another site where I post my stuff.....
