Help!

I still can't figure out how to take my midi drum track in CW and convert it to an audio track so I can hear it through my headphones with the rest of my tracks. Can someone guide me through?

Thanks,

Ron

Connect you speaker output to your Line In on your sound card.

Mute all you tracks except the drum track.

Insert a new audio track and arm it.

Make sure your metronome is turn off, esle it will be heard under your drum track.

When you are ready, press the record button.

When the drumtrack is finished playing, stop the recording.

An audio file should now be visible in the new track. If it is not, then you did something wrong.

Unarm the track, connect your speakers back up, unmute all your tracks. Now mute the midi drum track and play the tune. You should beable to hear the drum track.

Good luck

You're also supposed to be able to set the output on the midi and the input on the audio track to the same device, then mute everything except the midi tracks you want to bounce and arm the audio track for recording. There should be no need to swap leads around.

So far I haven't managed to get it to work but I've just got a new soundcard and have yet to try it with that.

Cheers
