I am contemplating the Cakewalk Home studio but dont know if my pc can handle it. I have an E machine with windows ME. 733MHZ, 265 ram, 20 gig. I was told my operating system will not handle it and that I would have to have Windows 2000 or XP. Any help would be appreciated. Dont want to invest if I cant use it. Thanks in advance!!!!

Yes your PC will handle Home Studio.

Windows ME is notorious for being very unstable. Just make it as stable as possible and you should get by. You would be better off reverting to Win 98 for stability. If you upgrade to XP it would still be alright but XP will use up a lot more system resources.
