Extigy digital input - HELP!

Postby pktaske » Thu Mar 24, 2005 7:53 pm

How do I get Home Studio to get the recording feed from my Digital Input on my Sound laster Extigy? Options are Mic, Line In, MIDI and What You Hear. If I use what you hear, I get everything, not just the recorded channel. (ie- in a nutshell, on my Recording Properties, there's no place to choose S/PDIF as the recording source :?:) Help!

From what I can remember I think this is enabled in the creative mixer application. Choose settings and properties and their should be an option to enable S/PDIF or it might give you the option to disable AC3. This will disable the digital to analogue encoding and allow the digital stream to pass straight through the Extigy.

Once this is done you should be able to see the new driver appear in the audio options of HS.
