Hi - I'm a new Cakewalk SONAR Home Studio 4 user, and I'm trying to record my first project. The problem I'm having is that I recorded the guitar track, no problem. Then I recorded the vocals, but the guitar track got recorded on the new track as well - I just want vocals on the second track. I realize I'll have to record a new vocal track - no issue - but how do I LISTEN to the guitar track while RECORDING the vocal track, and not have the guitar AND vocals on the new track?

I actually solved the problem, thanks. It was a stupid design issue with my sound card, but I've got it working now. Thanks again for the tip
