This is about my new Sonar Home Studio 4.
I found a thread for resolving the problem "One or more sound cards do not support stereo. The default audio format has been set to mono."
The advice given to the question is to use Windows WDM driver instead.
My systems: P4 1.7GHz SB Audigy LS 24bit WinXP Pro
I have an original Windows XP Pro CD Upgrade which I used for upgrading the OS from Win98.
(I have since purchased a new Win Xp Pro Full Version and can use it if necessary. This was meant for my new PC yet to be built.)
I'd most appreciate it if someone will please guide me to work on this elementary issue.
Thanking you in advance,
P.S.:
Maybe the question should be "How to make Sonar Home Studio 4 use Win XP WDM driver and not to use the WDM driver that seems to have been installed by running the CD that came with SB AUdigy LS?" Since I installed WinXP in pretty much the standard way, I think the WinXP's WDM driver is already installed on my PC???
