Hi,

I'm (obviously) a newbee and I need help configuring Cakewalk Sonar 6.2 to play softsynths real-time with my Roland HP-235 electric piano.

I have searched this forum and I have seen this question 2/3 times but all pretty much unanswered. I have read the tutorials and readme files but all without succes ...

I have wired my cables correctly since I can record 'live' from my piano and I know I have to insert a a softsynth but from there: ?!?! I read something about linking the softsynth to the MIDI-channel and putting the channel on MIDI-thru but as for now I have been unable tot generate any sound from a softsynth.

In addition I think I need help configuring the output channel as I want to hear the softsynth sound through my piano (which has a built in amplifier/boxes).

Please can someone guide me through these steps or give me a detailled link to somewhere else to help me solve my problem.

Much oblige,
Spiritos
