You can do several things. I beleive the Line 6 stuff has a direct ouput. This would eliminate the need for a DI box, as the line 6 has one built in. If it doesn, simply ren a line from the recording out of the Vetta into the Tascam and into your PC. Add some compression on your bass using a track insert and be easy on the EQ.

You should be all set.

Have you tried using a modeling amp? The Line 6 Bass Pod has worked for me. It is its own direct box and also has a MIDI connection port. This will eliminate the need for miking the cab and will give you control over volume and tone plus it has several amp models and effects so you can dial in your tone. Hope this helps!
