Sonar 3 metronome help???

Hello,
I am using sonar 3 on my desktop computer with a crystal WDM sound card. With project 5 I have a metronome click but with sonar I have no metronome? Do I have to use midi or the PC speaker? I also want to know if sonar has its own click sound like project 5 that does not require Midi or a PC speaker?
I would prefer not use the lousy PC speaker or a DX1 just for a metronome?
