I'm able to use session drummer with no problem. The problem is loading what I am hearing/playing in session drummer into a midi track for a song. There should be some import function or something right? I should then be able to open up the piano roll and edit it I hope.

I think it is the edit menu you require and the apply midi effects option. This creates a standard track of the session drummer data for the duration of the rest of the track. You can then edit to your hearts content.
