Silly Question: I'm not running any Midi and just need a Semi-Pro Inexpensive USB Sound Card with XLR Mic Inputs, for recording Audio Only. Has anyone used the M-Audio MOBILE PRE - USB MIC PREAMP ? If so, can this be used as my default Sound Card ? THANKS IN ADVANCE !

I'm sure you've already got an answer, but yes, that will do the trick. However, the Tascam us-122 is a much better solution for only about $50 more.
