I am just getting into recording at my house. Has anyone ever heard of http://www.loopwise.com ? They offer some kind of online music collaboration system / dating portal for recording artists where musicians can record together online? I just came from there. I want to buy something from their store, but I was wondering if anyone had dealt with them before...had a good experience with ordering music loops from http://www.loopwise.com ?>?>. Anyways...I am always weary of buying stuff online. I just dont want to get taken for a ride.

I was part of the Alesis exchange back in the mid 90's same type of thing. Yoiu had a book of adat users and could fedex your tapes around.

You probably can find people to work with you online. I do mixing/mastering for plenty of people via ftp and snail mail, put some posts up on music forums and someone will help you for free.
