Using banks in Sonar 2.0

After i select my bank in sonar, I get two sounds while i play my keyboard; the midi piano sound and then the bank sound I selected. Is there any way I can cut off the piano?

Disable local control (on your keyboard) and shut off midi echo (cakewalk)
