Mike is good. Works on my amp. Plugged it into the sound card with new adapter (and tried several). At one time when I yelled the "meter" showed a little response. Nothing on playback even if the computer sounds like it is recording me. Online Manual isn't very helpful and everything is in pro-talk. Not designed for a lay person maybe. Is there a good hard copy manual for Music Creator '03 ? Appreciate any input. Birdie

make sure your windows mixer is set up propperly.

-DOuble click speaker icon on lower right hand side of your taskbar

- Options/properties

- click 'recording'

- select (with a tick) the input your mic is plugged into (line or mic on your soundcard)

- adjust to good level

- restart Cakewalk
