I would be most delighted if someone could tell me what to do to get my played MIDI notes thru the external PC speakers and not thru the keyboard speakers. This worked fine at first using my keyboard with cw 9 but after a re-installation of the program everything started to go wrong. This is not a major problem but it would be nice to hear audio and MIDI from the same source. Hopefully waiting for a reply.

Assuming that you are using the midi osunds in your keyboard, you would have to run a cable from your keyboard's midi out to your soundcard's in.
Another option is to use your keyboard as a controller and play the instruments off your midi soundcard, although it probably isn't as good as your keyboard.
*Remember - MIDI consists of on/off notes and control data - not audio.
