Instrument Defintions

Hey, Im using a Roland RS-5 and am making instrument definitions for the presets. When I have to type in the bank number I have to find the instruments Least Significant Byte and Most Significant Byte and add them and them multiply it to 128. In the ROland book, the LSB is listed at the bottom of the page most of the time but after a while it starts giving the later presets its own LSB. How would i be able to put the presets with these different LSBs in the same bank? Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me out...
