:cry:
i take a midi file and record it into a cakewalk.bun file.
and then when I listen to it, there is a drum beyond the original.
As if there were two drummers competing.
Anybody can help me?

You might be recording an echo. Check to see if Input Monitoring is on or off.

Options|Audio|Input Monitoring

If the sound card is highlighted, then Input Monitoring is "on". Click on it once to remove the highlight, then click "ok". Try recording the midi drums again and see if you get the same results.

If the problem still persist, then you are still getting an echo from somewhere.

If you're using an external MIDI device such as a keyboard and youve got MIDI In and Out connected to it the keyboard could be sending the MIDI data through its Out connection and back to Sonar thus generating an extra beat.

My Yamaha works in this way
