Greetings.

Im an amateur in Cakewalk, and i always had a problem in the final mixing, of my band tracks... The thing is like this, after all is done in the mixing, and all the volumes balanced, i do an export for wav, and when i listen in my conputer Media player the general volume as dicresed... and i dont know what to do, because it sounds great in cool but its sounds like hell when i listen in wav...

Any suggestions from the people here...? What im doing wrong?

I would always mix down to a stereo file within cakewalk first and then you can apply any mastering effects to the final mix and normalise it before exporting it as a wave file.

You will probably find the final mix will still need a bit of mastering ie. compression and EQ to get it sounding right. Normalising will bring all the volume levels up to the maximum without clipping.
