Roland applications

Trying to sync my Roland VS-1824 to the Cakewalk Pro Audio 9? Any knowledge???
If you have the MIDI leads set up correctly it should just be a case of going into the Tools/Global options menu (or similarly named, am at work at mo) and select MIDI Clock to external.
Then when you start your Roland sequence the two should be in sync
