I am using Cakewalk SONAR 3. My problem is that: when i edit a MIDI file
after I save and play it, it has a 2 seconds delay before starting to play... that is irritating!

Please help

Strange! Is it definitely a MIDI file, ie a .mid extension?

Silly question, are you sure you havent got two seconds of silence before any MIDI notes start playing?

Are you able to post the file somewhere so we can download it and check our own Sonar settings?

Thanks for the reply But...

Thanks for the replay but i foud a way to fix it in Cuebase which is not that good with MIDI for my taste, I would be happy if you know how to fix it in SONAR.

The Problem occured when I opened a MIDI I did not made. When i played it in winamp it started on time , but had a bad ending, so I tried editing it in SONAR but after I played it in winamp again it had a measure of silence before starting. I tried to open the MIDI file againg in SONAR and it had an empty musser before starting, but every time I fixed it in SONAR and open it in winamp, and in SONAR after it, it had the dam silent measure...

Do you know what am I talking about or is it just normal and I am Weird?

Thanks again
