I have cakewalk pro audio 9 and a midi connection to the computer.
When i go tochose the instrument i am looking for the PSR 290 but it is not there.
I there a way to find :shock: the "ins" file for this keyboard. :?:
I have searched the internet for hours now and no luck. :?
Thanks in advanced.
forgot to mention it is a Yamaha PSR 290

There isn't one for the Yamaha PSR 290, I have searched in vain also.

You can just use the XG settings and it will match up pretty closely although the bank names aren't the same you soon get used to it and there are a few sounds that aren't on the 290 but it does follow the XG format.

I have an Ins file half written but it is a long job for me. If I ever get it done I'll let you know.
